Can Budget Phones Feel Like Flagships?

Apple recently released the iPhone 17e, and it’s a direct attack on Google’s Pixel 10a. Both phones are priced under $600 but offer the brains of their more expensive brothers.

  • iPhone 17e: It uses the same A19 chip as the iPhone 17. The downside? It only has a single camera lens and a 60Hz screen.
  • Google Pixel 10a: It offers a 120Hz display and the famous “Pixel Look” with its dual-camera setup. Plus, it includes the same Gemini AI features found on the Pixel 10 Pro.

Verdict: The iPhone 17e is the best “long-term” purchase (it will last 7 years). The Pixel 10a is the better “tech” purchase with a much better screen and camera variety.
